After competing in a few rallysprints at the start of the 2006 season, Mettina debuted her driving career in the South Australian Rally Championship with some good results. She won her class in two rounds of the championship and finished second in another round which enabled her to win her class overall for the 2006 season.
In 2008 “Lil Dori’s” focus will now be on the growing sport of drifting in which she will be competing in a newly built Nissan 180SX drift car. She hopes to adapt well to the change in surface and be able to make a good impression in the South Australian G1 Drift Series. She will be focused on learning as much as possible from some of the more experienced drivers and hopefully showing them that girls can have just as much fun!
